Shopping vent! (long)
I went to Pea in the Pod to buy maternity clothes. I wanted to get a lot so that I wouldnt have to shop again for a long time- about $750 worth. At the register I ask the woman to charge half to a credit card and half to my bank card. She accidentally swipes the same card twice - no biggie, she voids it. She charges it again and tells me the credit card is declined but my bank card went through. I give her a diferent card. She swipes both again and tells me that my bank card didnt go through. This goes on between 3 different cards for a while until I finally call one of the credit cards - they never voided anything - the cards were each charged 2-3 times each! The cards wont be available for use until tomorrow bc the charges and voids are still pending. I took most of the items out and got 2 pairs of jeans and a top - which was still 400 - and charged it to my husbands card. So then I had to tell my husband - and of course he is furious bc he doesnt understand why a couple pairs of jeans cost so much.

This has happened to me before and it suuucks! (not at Pea in a Pod, but another store) The item I was buying they rang up, but rang it up wrong so it had to be voided, but then when they tried to ring it up the right way, it didnt go through bc of insufficient funds.
Well, it wouldnt be insufficient if you would have rang it up the right way the first time.

wow thats alot of $$ for 2 jeans and a top. I mean don't get me wrong I buy name brand things ...but I don't plan on spending alot on maternity bc it's only temporary clothing.

Yes I do - I really wanted a couple of pairs of designer jeans - ive hated the way all other have looked on me. So at lease i have jeans that fit me now.

That's good! I'm a firm believer that you need to feel good about what you're wearing when you're preggs. It really helps so much
