you can have velour hemmed, but I'm 5'3 and I haven't had them hemmed. I don;t know they always seem fine for me. FYI-rulala.com has terry on sale $49 a piece!! just got 2 new sets!! but I would get them fast, they sell out quickly!!

I always have my velour/terry sets hemmed only because I wear them with flip flops or uggs. I'm 5'3'' and they are always really long on me.

I get EVERY PAIR OF PANTS I OWN hemmed 
I'm 5' tall. 
A place I like a lot is the tailor downstairs in Roosevelt Field. I like that they do it the same day- so I can buy the pants, go down to get them hemmed, do some more shopping, then pick them up before leaving the mall!
