shorts or skirts?
which do you wear in the summer?
i own only 1 pair of shorts - i like them - but i always feel skirts are more diverse. i can wear them to work, a bar, out to dinner, etc.
so i am a skirt person all the way.

well it depends. I don't wear a skirt just to run errands on the weekends... etc. I like to wear capris to do that. I do own a lot of shorts from years ago and they fit. I plan on wearing them just to run around in on really hot days.
skirts are for when DH and I go out

Mostly shorts. I feel too dressed up in skirts. I love skirts but we don't really go anywhere that I need to get dressed up. People are super-casual here in Colorado too. I look like a fashionista compared to the crunchy mommas that live in my town

but latley I have been loving the lose fit shorter shorts- they work well for me b/c I am short-

all of the above.
I wear shorts and I am proud of it  I am usually at the park or playground or pool with my kids, why wear a skirt??
I wear skirts if I am going to office or somewhere nice.
I also wear capri's a lot too.

I wear skirts and dresses only....I never wear shorts, but thats becuase I don't like the way I look in them. We just had this discussion today and work and my friends think I'm weird cause I don't wear shorts.

I hate skirts. If I do wear a skirt, it is very long so I can sit comfortably. They do not feel natural to me.
As for shorts, I try to make sure they are long enough that if I am standing up straight, they are at or past my fingertips when my arms are at my side. I am fortunate that I can wear shorts to my work place in the summer time (I teach summer school.) I know what is appropriate and looks best on me.
I also know I commit fashion faux pas on a daily basis.
