I hate the way the curtains try to attack you when you are in the shower

Re: shower curtain vs glass doors
I clean my shower doors with a squeegie after every shower, which is no big deal and it has become part of my routine. Since no one cleans shower curtains they actually start to build up mold and eventually you should replace them. In recent years I've found that mold makes me sneeze, so shower curtains are out for me.

Re: shower curtain vs glass doors
I currently have curtains and when we remodel shortly we will switch to glass for the following reasons..
* Glass has a modern updated appearance
* Glass opens up the area and makes the room appear larger
* Glass seals in the water better
* I hate the mildew that builds up on the shower liner
Also, quality glass doors do not require as much cleaning. The frosted plastic doors are not ideal.

Re: shower curtain vs glass doors
You can decorate and change curtains. the biggest negative about sliding glass doors is cleaning them. they can pick up so much scum and dirt and cleaning them really great has always been such a challenge. I hate sliding glass doors....

Re: shower curtain vs glass doors
Personally, I like shower doors better. I think (IMO) that it gives the bathroom a cleaner look (not clean vs. dirty, just smooth and finished, I guess.)
But, the pros of a curtain is that you can change them as your tastes change (or your color scheme changes) for not a lot of money.

Same here! We squeegie them after every shower, so the cleaning is not that bad. I try not to keep any fabrics in the bathroom (except towels) Wet fabrics & mold gross me out!

I agree. Shower doors will be as dirty as you let them get. At least with glass you can see the dirt and clean it but with a liner it's usually beyond cleaning once dirt or smells are noticed.
