Shower Gift help: This is Mom's #2 and they are twins
I know her from AJ's school. She's pretty nice. We talk via email and she's all alone here in TX (family's in GA) so she's asked me to be at her shower. I figure why not.
Her son is 2 and her twins are due in June. Shower is the 30th.
Of course she said "bring nothing" But come on... at least something small.
Suggestions?

umm my best gift when i had the twins, and with her having no fam here, would be a peapod gift card. that way when the babies come she can have delivered. or other ppl gave me restaurant gc's and then u get delivery :)

Diapers, wipes, food (or ways to get food) are always helpful, no matter what! You can look on the bump and do a search to see if she registered somewhere (even just for the completion coupon) and buy something off it anyway. I don't know anything about being a twin mommy (although I don't know how any of them do it!!! incredible!!!) but hopefully one of the twin mommies can give you advice on the indispensable item for twins...

I think a Target or grocery store GC would be best and easily flexible for the mom to be. I would give as much as I could afford.

DIAPERS and WIPES!!!! literally feel like you go through them like water in the beginning!!
if you don't want to do a giftcard you can get them at target or BRU and attach a gift receipt.
does she know what she is having? maybe coordinating outfits. i am a cheeseball and like coordinating (not matching) outfits for my twins.

Just an update
It was this past weekend.
I got her a $50 Visa card
She's having a boy and a girl. It was a very small affair and only about 5 couples were there. Kids were welcome but I didn't bring AJ (she was at my aunt's).

My son was 2 when I had my shower as well for my twins, it was small. I got a lot of diapers ( MUCH needed), outfits and some small things like a hamper, bedding, baby books ...things that I would want for two but would add up if I had to buy type of thing.
IMO diapers is always a good idea.
