Side by Side or front to back strollers?

I know this has been done, so thanks in advance for doing it again...( search function STINKS!!!!) ....

I have seen sooooo many mixed answers on this and I am torn. I feel like the stroller decision is the hardest one to make...

Please explain why you like each and pros and cons...

We do have a double snap and go for the beginning.

TIA!!!!

We have both and in the beginning, I always used the side to side, now I am using the front/back almost all the time. It's just so hard to do ANY shopping w/ the side by side. See if you can score a used one & get both - the nassau county twins club has a used equipment sale 2x a year and they always have strollers.

I have both also, I agree with pinky the front to back is easier to manage than the side by side especially going through doors.

I prefer the side by side. I feel like the front to back is a train and so hard to maneuver. Also, in the F2B, only one baby has a good view, and my babies love looking around at everything.

I had a front to back which I used until they were about 2 1/2. Then we used 2 single strollers more then anything since they hated sitting front to back and now at 3.5 we got a used side by side for occassionaly trips where they can't walk all the time.

I have a side by side (Valco twin runabout) which I posted another time the pros and cons of it. It is a GREAT stroller but I am trying to get a Kolcraft tandem options stroller for short trips to the store. I don't really think there is a good solution for a light(er!) easy to maneuver twin stroller. Maybe the Dyson guy has an ideaChat Icon

Re: Side by Side or front to back strollers?

I LOVED the front to back when they were younger, and it is great for shopping, but now that they are older, I use my side by side jogger.

I looked and looked, but I couldn't find a front to back that had great reviews. I just bought the Chicco Trevi side by side. Have only used it once so far so we'll see.
