Side effects to trigger shot?
My daughter is going for IUI. The dr mentioned a trigger shot but she is concerned about side effects. Have you had side effects from this? If so, may I ask what they were? she had IUI 4 yrs ago to conceive my granddaughter. She did it with no medications or trigger shot and conceived on the 2nd try. Thanks.

Yeah I only had a slight pain at the injection site also. Other than that I haven't had any side affects! Some people say they get early pregnancy symptoms bc it does have hcg in it which our body produces when pregnant so if you take a pregnancy test too early it could be a false positive from the trigger but other than that I like taking it bc you know you def O and when! Good luck to your daughter!

No pain, no side effects. Needle is so tiny if you don't watch you don't really feel it.
