Sidedish help for Chicken Pot Pie
We are having a friend over for dinner tomorrow night, and I'm making a recipe I made from this board - the Chicken Pot Pie with Cornbread Crust (soooo delicious, by the way). It has the crust and veggies in it already, so I am wondering what to make with it (our friend is a big eater). Serving bread on the side is also pointless.
I was thinking of making a nice salad too...but can anyone help me think of another sidedish?

hmm... that IS tough, because pot pie is kind of a one dish meal. i was gonna say a salad, but youre already planning that.
what kind of veggies are in the pot pie already? are there any potatoes? if not, you could do some mashed potatoes on the side- or even just some more of the veggies that are in the pot pie...
