Sigh. What would you do?
So, two months ago my BFF and I made plans for DS and I to come down to see her tomorrow. My DH is working, she is 7 months pregnant with baby Asher and has a 14 month old, it works out so well.
Of course, my kid, who hasn't been since since last MAY, has a little cough (not productive at all) and a runny nose. Its clear, and isn't even running that much, but he seems tired too.
We have plans Sunday, so I can't even push it back a day. I asked her and she consulted her DH and they gave us a thumbs up and DS is eating and drinking, no fever or anything, but I am a little apprehensive.
Would you go? Its a 2.5 hours ride down and back....right now we have it that we are going unless he is sicker in the am.
TIA!

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
I would go. We took DD to Cooperstown when she had a cold. We got our doc's go ahead first.
so long as there is no fever or vomiting, I'd go.
Hope he feels better soon.

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
I would go, it doesn't sound like he has anything terrible and she gave you the OK. If he looks worse tomorrow I would reconsider.

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
i would go. she and her DH gave you the thumbs up. i don't have a toddler so i don't know how reasonable this is but can you keep him away from the other babies' things? and have him wash his hands a lot?
if christopher is otherwise happy and you don't think it will stress him out to travel while *possibly* sick, then i would go.

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
If she is ok with it, I'd go. A little runny nose could be anything.

I would go - C3 is such an easy going kid that unless he wakes up and is not himself, you will be fine

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
Of course you should go! A runny nose could be teething! As long as he's still himself, you have nothing to worry about. Have fun!!

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
If he's acting himself, I'd go!! DD always has a runny nose, I'd never leave the house if I let that stop us

Re: Sigh. What would you do?
I would go as long as you tell her what's up first and she give the ok.
I always put it out there 1st if I'm taking Bella somewhere and she *might* have something.
