Silly question re: where baby is sitting in your belly....
How the heck can you guys tell????
Maybe I'm just not tuned into my baby - I mean, I can feel the baby moving and squirming around like crazy, but I can't say, oh - that was the butt, or elbow, or foot, or whatever - it just feels like a squirmfest in there and thats it....
I hear ladies say that the baby's butt is resting somewhere, or the baby is laying specifically a certain way - I feel I'm far enough along where I should be more aware of the body parts inside of me - right? I'm 33 wks, but to me, it just feels like a blob inside me- I'll see my belly move around, but it just looks like random little pokes...

Re: Silly question re: where baby is sitting in your belly....
I can never tell. I stopped trying to pretend to know a few weeks ago b/c I would think the baby was sitting one way, but when we would go for the growth scan, they would tell me she was in a position opposite of what I thought. All I know is that at my appt last week, the ob did an internal and she said she could feel the baby's head, which completely freaked me out

I feel this very hard spot right next to my belly button all the time. I thought it was either the head or butt. When I went to the doctor she said the baby's head was down and that hard spot was her butt.....that is how I know

I have a simliar thing to Stephanie. I can feel a hard, round thing up near my ribs. I am pretty sure that it is his head by sonos that I have had.
But I only feel it when I am laying on my back. Poke around, you may feel something

Liza, the only time I knew for sure in my first PG what had "hit" me was the one time she kicked out so hard that I saw the outline of her foot! I can tell when this one is shoving it's whole body up against me...that's about it. I couldnt' tell you butt from hand to be honest!

I could tell because the kicking was harder & located right next to each other (think stomping feet) At the same time I would feel anotheer movement on the top section which I took to be an arm.
