I need a recipe for bbq chicken in the crockpot that doesnt take too too long. I have skiness, boneless chicken breasts that I need to use up.
Anyone?

I just add the chicken breast and 1 bottle of BBQ sauce. I typically have 8 huge chicken breasts cooking. You can adjust the BBQ sauce accordingly. I cook on low for 4 hours, and then shred with two forks and we serve it as pulled chicken sandwiches. It's very good!

Re: simple bbq chicken in the crockpot?
I've done this, just the bbq sauce and chicken and it was yummy but a little dry. Probably b/c I used thin cutlets and I set it on 4hrs (which is high) and it was done waaaaay before that. It tasted good but if you do it this way just check for done-ness like after 2hrs or so ... so it doesnt get too dry.

Re: simple bbq chicken in the crockpot?
Thanks ladies. I have thin cutlets too, so I'm going to throw it on for 2 hours and check it as you suggested.
I put in a bottle of Sweet Baby Rays, some brown sugar, some garlic, and some chili sauce. We'll see how it comes out.
Do you think I should put it on High or Low for the 2 hours??

Re: simple bbq chicken in the crockpot?
I did this last weekend - I had about 5 chicken thighs w/ skin on for about 3 hours on high. They were falling off the bone.
I used 2 btles of Sweet Baby Rays, TBS of minced Garlic, Chopped 1/2 a vidalia onion and 1/2 cup of honey.
My only complaint is that they were a little greasy - but I am sure that was because of the skin. You should be fine.

I would do high if you're doing 2 hours.
