Since joining LIF parenting...
Have you made some really good friends and friends for your child that you wouldnt have known before joining the parenting board? Yes for us and we are so fortunate to have these people in our lives. Not really looking for names...just wondering...

But I am NOT looking for relationships like ours (ones that were developed prior) I am looking for ones that occured after LIF parenting.

since joining LIW 8yrs ago  (in addition to LIF) plus several other online chat groups (some private local groups) Ive made many great friends who im always in touch with.
the internet is amazing!

Sort of. There are people I talk to online, but not really offline. It's my own fault. I'm pretty shy IRL so I avoid going to GTGs.

Not really, I just chat generally on the boards. I am not particulariy close with anyone here. Not because I dont want to be. I am very familiar with many of the posters and their kids but I dont socialize with anyone on weekends and I never went to any of the GTGs.

I honestly dont know what I'd do without EVERYONE on here...my life is so hectic that I dont always have time for playdates etc...but when you add the communication on LIF with the GTGs it works out fantastically. Im actually looking forward to the warmer weather for more GTGs and time out with the kiddies.
