I swear when I wrote this question I thought of you and how many people I actually met IRL and then I thought of you who me, jodi, Katie and Felicia were pretty close to during pregnancy but we all have yet to meet you  One day...

Not really, I just chat generally on the boards. I am not particulariy close with anyone here. Not because I dont want to be. I am very familiar with many of the posters and their kids but I dont socialize with anyone on weekends and I never went to any of the GTGs.
Ditto. Although I would like to start going to some GTG's...I've never met anyone from LIF but from all the chatting and posts it's easy to see why everyone here is so wonderful! Honestly I don't know what I would do without LIF...seriously.

not really here either... no one seems to like me 
maybe Cathy, you and I can go to the GTG's together so at least we'll know each other IRL

I made a bunch of friends on LIW, most of whom don't really come on LIF too much or at all. We all have kids ranging from 6 to 1 1/2. As some of the kids have gotten older and started school & other scheduled activities, it's less about the kids getting together as much as us having nights out without them. Of course bday parties the kids see each other

most of the people that I am closest to from this site are those I met on LIWs and then came over here with.. they would be my friends regardless if this site existed or not and have since become some of my best friends!
I have also since then made a lot of 'online' friends via the pregnancy and parenting boards, but unfortunately haven't met a lot of you since I live in Westchester and can't make any of the playdates and stuff since we are too far ..

Sort of. Most of the people I FM with are from LIW or pregnancy. I would like to socialize more and meet more people, but going to GTGs is harder now that I am back at work.
