Since we are sick about weather talk...help me throw a party
I am throwing my moms 50th bday party.
Spanish/Morrocan theme.
whatcha got for me?
the walls of the space are already a nice dark orange.
I am thinking lots of pillows and candles....
show me the money ladies!

Bring the bright colors of Morocco home with a festive Moroccan theme party. One great way to do this is to host a dinner or food sampling event, complete with bright fabrics, a low table, and pillows for chairs.
Find brightly colored fabrics around your home, from second hand stores, and from discount centers. If possible, find lightweight fabrics that you can hang from the ceiling and walls. While shopping, look for bright plastic beads and fake coins for additional decoration. Drape fabrics over your table setting as well. To make a low-level table, look around for options around your home such as placing a board between two coffee tables. Don't worry--the table coverings will hide your secret! Find an assortment of throw pillows to use for seating (larger ones if you have them). You likely already have a number of them around your home. You can borrow the rest or ask guests to bring their own. Use some of your fabric over the pillows. Gather as many brightly colored candles you can find and use these for centerpieces.
For food, consult an ethnic cookbook or search online for ideas. Moroccan meals consist of many courses, so you'll want to prepare! Enjoy trying new foods and creating a fun party for your guests.
Incorporate bright colors in your invitations and let your guests in on the theme of the party. You may want to encourage guests to dress appropriately, so send out invitations with enough time for guests to prepare.
Play Moroccan music in the background throughout the party.

Obviously you have the food? Or no?
What is the dress attire?
You should hire a DJ and small Morrocon band. Lots of candles and fabrics.
I need to know the venue before I can the thought process. This sounds awesome though.

iit's in a home.
half inside. half on a deck (outdoors)
got the food.
about 30 peeps.
my mom would LOVE the hookah. but she quit smoking a few years back.
belly dancer I am already looking in to (I wish I'd continued so I could do it myself)
and I am the biggest monkey there is!
