Sippy cup is her new teething toy..

Did anyone else have this problem? I have a Nuby sippy cup that has the soft plastic top.. I give it to her on occasion to kind of get familiar with the cup, and she just chews on the top of it :) Occasionally she sucks in some air, or rarely some water. She's only 9mos, so I'm not going crazy about getting her to get the hang of it yet, however I didn't know if I should just wait to introduce it?

Or is this just normal and I should just go buy a new one for when she gnaws off the top of this one :)

DD drinks mostly out of sippy cups all day. When she is done drinking her thing is turning it upside down and biting on the pastic on the bottom. We also use the NUBY ones. I would let gnaw on it. It probably feels good especially if its cold.
