sit and stand vs regular double stroller
Which do you think is the better option? A sit and stand or a side by side (my preference for a double if not sit and stand).
DS will be just about 2.5 when his little brother arrives in 4 weeks.
TIA!

Dd was 2.5 when my second arrived. e Really only use the double for long day trips and traveling, otherwise I have the baby in the snap and go and my older one walks. We have a side by side Britax which has been great since they can both nap in it. It's really easy to push and has a good basket and sun shades which are important for me.

sit and stand vs regular double stroller
DS is 3 and I just had my DD a month ago. Originally I bought the kickstand for my Uppababy but my son is too short and his head hits the stroller handle. I live in Queens and walk everywhere. He was getting so tired so I just bought a sit and stand. To me it looks enormous but I didn't want to spend a lot and like the bench thing he can sit on. If money weren't an option I would probably get a citi mini double, but since my son is older it isn't realistic for us.
Edit to add I got the sit and stand double which comes with two seats. DS is strapped in the front seat andDD is in the back, there's a removable seat and you can snap in the car seat.

Re: sit and stand vs regular double stroller
DD will be exactly 3 when dc2 arrives. I'm going with a double because dd needs to be corralled! She will run wild if not strapped in to something!

Re: sit and stand vs regular double stroller
I got a double stroller & used it til kids were 2 & 3.5. Personally, I see more people using a double stroller than a sit n stand!

True. I don't see anyone with the sit and stand.

My DS was 2 1/4 when DS 2 was born and I opted for the City Mini Double. Now at 5 1/2 and 3 1/4, I still use it.

Re: sit and stand vs regular double stroller
IMO it depends how often you use a stroller. I used mine all the time - ALL the time, and took the kids everywhere alone and with DH - so for me, the double stroller was a life saver. It's just SO much easier to do what you need to do when they will both sit in the stroller .......... Mine are 4 and 6 and I put them in it over the weekend to walk the outlets w/ DH - my older one looked ridiculous but I don't care. They are willing to sit, and it makes my life easier.

Re: sit and stand vs regular double stroller
dd#2 will be here in a few weeks and dd#1 will be exactly 3yo. Im looking into getting a double stroller that is front to back. the sit and stand strollers just don't look comfy enough the older child and I want her strapped in lol.
