Situation Question....
My daughter is going to be turning 6 friday and she wants us to take her into the city saturday. She asked if we could take 2 of her classmates, which DH and I agreed. I sent 2 invitations to her teacher to place in her friend's take home folders. Thing is I have never met these girls' parents and they have never met us. I asked that they call me to confirm, but would you let your child go??? I'm hoping the 2 girls can came, but I'm skeptical since they dont know us and I can def. understand if they don't let them come with us. What do you suggest I do???
TIA

Re: Situation Question....
Maybe you could meet with them before Saturday and talk to them about what the day entails.

Re: Situation Question....
Or even invite the parents along so you all can get to know each other.

Re: Situation Question....
Either of those is a great idea... I personally would go along with my child if given the opportunity..

Re: Situation Question....
Definitely invite them along! That would be great to have extra help with them in the city and you never know where new friends can be made.
Happy birthday to your daughter!
