sizing question - buying non maternity clothing

i'm thinking about buying this dress for the summer, i'll be 5 months, the beginning of july with twins, so i'm guessing i'll be bigger then i was with my first. Do you think i should buy this dress in my regular size or go up one? i don't have a big chest, which means it would probably be reallly big in the chest area if i bought up.

I would go up one size. if it is too big in the chest area you could shorten the straps.

I would go up at least a size since with 2nd pregnancies, ladies show a lot earlier. And since you're having twins, your chest may get bigger than last time. I would get the bigger size and have it tailored if the chest is too big, about a week before you want to wear it. HTH!! It's a lovely dress! Chat Icon

go up one size. I dont buy maternity clothing and I am usually a small when i am not preggo in some tops. I usually buy a large from stores like forever 21 or charlotte russe when i am preggo.

I would hold off buying clothes until about a month before your trip.... your body could change fairly radically between 4 and 5 mo.... especially with twins....

I'd probably buy a size larger. I love the dress. Where is it from?

I tend to agree. I would be more concerned with the ribcage area than the chest/belly areas. If you can hold out, I would.
