Skipping the night bottle question
When DC sleeps through the night (Gavin's starting!!!!! ), do you make the daytime bottle bigger or just leave them the same?
he seems to not be reaching the 3 hour mark the days that he sleeps through and I was thinking it was because he's missing the feeding.....

Re: Skipping the night bottle question
i would increease the amount. how much is he drinking?
i found this too The mimimu requirement of formula that a baby needs is about 2.5 oz per lb of the child. So if your clid weighs 10 lbs he or she should be getting (10 X 2.5) 25oz of milk per day.

Re: Skipping the night bottle question
Yeah, I read 2.5 oz. per pound over the course of a day also. So if he is getting that sometime during the day, he should be fine.
My DS is not sleeping through the night yet, but he is skipping his 12 pm feeding for the most part now, which means one less bottle each day. He drinks more in the nightime and morning early afternoon bottles though, which makes up for it.
Congrats on him sleeping through the night! I am dreaming of this day.
