Sleeping/feeding question for 8 week old
My DS has started his own daily routine - he's up at 8:30 eats and then falls back asleep for 1-1.5 hours; eats again at 12pm and naps til about 3-3:15; eats again at 3:30 and hangs out or catnaps til next bottle at 7-7:30 and then gets really cranky/sleepy til his next bottle around 10:30-11. Sometimes we have to wake him up for the 10:30 bottle. I don't know if we should put him down for the night at 7:30 or just let him play/hang out/cat nap with us til 10:30 like we've been doing. He does go to sleep for the night after the 10:30 bottle and will sleep til about 3:30am when I give him another one. I'm just not sure what to do between the 7:30 and 10:30 bottle? Not sure if I should not wake him up for the 10:30 bottle? Any suggestions?
Anyone willing to share their schedule/routine?
TIA

Re: Sleeping/feeding question for 8 week old
I wouldn't wake up at night unless your ped advised to but how frequently is he eating during the day? At that age DS was eating 7 times a day ( 6 times during the day band once overnight). Could you try to keep him up longer stretches during the day?
ETA:
DS schedule at that age was he at 6, 9, 12, 3, 5:30, 7:30 and then usually at about 3:30 am

Re: Sleeping/feeding question for 8 week old
How many oz is he getting during the day? Try not waking him up one night and see what happens. He might wake up on his own at that time. He probably could go from 7:30- 3:30 without that bottle.

Re: Sleeping/feeding question for 8 week old
I say that unless your ped. says you have to wake the baby, let the baby dictate eating and sleeping times. We never enforced a strict schedule and my DS was very quick to get into an easy schedule of his own, without causing us any aggravation!
