It's hard to be happy for others when ur TTC but it's not fair to be mad. Everybody has their own path and timeline. My mom had my sister at 16.My dad was her very first (and only) I'm sure plenty of people had alot to say behind her back, 16 yo catholic school girl pregnant. BUT, she worked hard and was a good mom. She did her best and we wanted for nothing.
It might not be fair, but those who struggle with infertility or have miscarriages have a right to feel upset/sad/angry.
I know after I had two miscarriages, I would be sad when I saw others pregnant or with kids. I remember after I had my losses, Britney Spears was pregnant and then pregnant again and it really made me hurt inside. Was that fair? Probably not. But I was allowed to feel hurt/angry/whatever yaknow?
I hope this is a turning point for her.
I had a miscarriage, and if you had seen how much blood squirted out of me during my second pregnancy, I really thought I had lost that one too. I know what it's like, and I KNOW how hard the struggle is. I'm just saying that while it's normal to think "Why not me???" it's unfair to say "why them?" or "they shouldn't". Same thing like when Teen mom Leah had her MC and people felt "it was for the best". Nobody should have that right to judge a person that way. These people are PAID to act stupid on TV and go nuts. We don't know them personally, behind closed doors...we don't know what they can and cannot provide and many of us have our own issues that people could point to and say "why them" as well. that's all, not that it's not normal to be frustrated.
I get what you're saying, but I dont think you should say what is normal or not normal. I was depressed when Britney Spears was pregnant and thought why her? Was that fair? No, but I just suffered two losses and didnt think it was fair.
No one should should say it's for the best when someone MC. I would NEVER say that. I'm just saying, I can get why someone would say "why them?" if they are struggling with infertility or loss. That's all.
Noone SHOULD judge these people, but they put themselves out there like that, people will judge.

you're right. I know there's got to be more than meets the eye (or so we hope) but at the same time I wish people didn't exploit themselves in order to gain recognition. So, for that...it is their fault that people view them as they do. THAT in and of itself does say something about their character that they would allow themselves to be exploited for money. But, I'm sure she's not as dumb as she plays...just like most of the other females in hollywood.

I always wonder how these people could let themselves get exploited like that. I think it's either a) they have no values or don't care b) they just want money and dont care how they get it or c) they are naive and don't really what they are getting themselves into.
I hope Snooki is just acting that way. If not, I think she might have a drinking problem.
Hopefully, she grows up!

I think it's gross how so many people are already judging her as a bad parent. What a person did before they took that pregnancy test should not have any baring on their ability to raise a child. And to say she's carrying the baby in her ass??? I know it was a joke...but, THIS IS AN INNOCENT BABY YOU PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!
You could lead the most boring straight and narrow path of a life and be a horrible parent...or you could come from a dark, troubled, or irresponsible life of selfishness and turn out to be the best parent ever.
I hope she matures, I wish her well...and I hope she and Jionni can make it last because a baby is the biggest test a relationship can take...and I know they've had issues.

I only wanted to touch on this part of your post...and I must respectfully disagree in some situations. If someone was a crackhead before taking the test, does that mean that it doesn't mean anything after the test is positive? Of course not...because it can make a difference.
Snooki (by the way she is portrayed) seems like a barely functioning alcoholic. People will make their judgments because people are human and that's what they do. She is a train wreck and the fact that she will be responsible for another human being is quite shocking and sad to many. I think knowing that someone who is clearly as irresponsible as she has shown to be, is where the "attacks" come into play and with those, some humor. Of course humor is subjective and what one finds funny another might find offensive, it's just what happens on this board.
I HOPE that this baby makes her clean up her act, I really do. Only time will tell!

No one knows her as her "real self" but for all intents and purposes who she is on TV, is who she is in real life. I personally do not think she's in a good place in her life to have a child. She's a borderline alcoholic, drug user, and intoxicated (no pun intended) by fame. Jionni is portrayed on TV as a manipulating, controlling, boyfriend, with a bad temper. Also, not good.
So IF she were to have this child, I think MTV will throw a shit load of money at her to document her pregnancy, enable her, and she makes a profit. NOt good reason to have a baby.
I'm not saying she won't love her child, but looking back at her TV career she is in no way ready to have a child.
A child shouldn't have to force you to grow up, your decision to act mature should.

I think what people are touching on is how she is just a train wreck in general (from what we see) and because of THAT they worry about her being a good parent. Could she turn it all around and prove the world wrong? Sure. But she could also go the other way.
For most, having a baby changes everything, but there are those that it doesn't change the behavior. I hope she is in the former and not the latter category.
