I really don't know what to do. My job will never close. We are a 24 hour supervised residence for the mentally ill. Which means no such thing as snow days. If you are out it affects everyone since it's about full coverage. I think I'm stuck in this situation going in. Not fun especially 6.5 months preggo.

i work retail and usually theyll pull a "we'll see maybe it'll be delayed opening at 7am" and then last minute they let us know if we're closed or not. if its as bad as they say it will be...I'm hoping I won't have to go...but then i'll have to use sick/vaca for it.

i'm going in. i take the subway and should be able to get in. my office never closes, and i have tons of work to do anyway.

Omg your office does this too??!!! Last year we had to make up the snow day or use one of our own days.
Last snow storm we didn't have to make up. Because the jerks didn't give us new year off so they got screwed. We expect an email tomorrow saying we will have to make up for today.
