Snow Storm coming Thursday
Looks like we're in for a mild snowstorm on Thursday. 3-6 inches of snow.

Sadly though we won't get snowed in the rest of the week- no matter what they will make us trudge out in it on Friday- and the thought of driving in it and digging out my car = no bueno!
Now a Friday storm I might be able to get MORE on board with....

Ugh, I'm running out to the craft store tomorrow to make sure I have enough to keep the kiddos entertained! I hate snow days!!! But I do love snow, on the weekends

The worst thing is going to work but nobody else shows up so you get stuck doing not only your own but everybody else's job too. And commuting always takes 2-3 times as long in a blizzard I'm not in the mood this week!

I know I feel like it's going to be annoying enough for me to be able to get to work and drop my son off in nasty condition but not enough to stay home because it won't be that bad yet. I have the opposite a lot of people at my job are in the city already with no kids. Lucky bastards

I work in a DOE school in queens.
If the snow starts at 4am, with the heaviest conditions between the hours of 9am and 3pm, do you guys think they'll close schools
I'm not going in either way- i just hate using days - im pregnant and due end of April and don't have too many days in my bank to begin with

Arghhh.
It is going to suck commuting in tomorrow, then waiting to hear if the office will close early, which it rarely does.
Then commuting home on the wonderful LIRR.

There is talk in my school that I work in Nassau that we are closed for tomorrow.
I can't say it officially but that is the plan as of now.

Our school usually calls the night before if bad snow if predicted- I have a feeling that will happen tonight- especially since we haven't had a snow day yet so I bet they will be more liberal with closing.

No, I would highly doubt city schools will be closed.
