So am I being too cautious...
if I felt alot of cramping this morning at like 5:30am...(though I couldn't tell if it was cramping cramping or gas )....to not go to the gym? I'm just about 12 weeks.
Weekends are my only days that I feel up to it!!! And I know I've really pushed myself all week (very stressful, busy, lack of sleep) and I've been exhausted. But I always feel way better when I work out.
So....advice?
The cramping was strange...I bent over the sink and it hurt even more! but then it went away...maybe it was more muscular? Now I'm honestly fine...
Is my uterus just stretching again?
Thanks! I'm so neurotic!

I don't think you are being too cautious. I had a similar situation early on and ended up going in to see my doctor who told me to take a day or two off from work, rest and take it easy.

It sounds like stretching-which would be totally normal. Try going to the gym, but if you feel too uncomfortable, then leave. I had lots of on and off cramping throughout my pregnancies.

I'm sure you're fine Tara. My cramping didn't stop until about 14 weeks but once the cramps went away I had all kinds of other stretching and pinching feelings as my uterus stretched out and got bigger. You'll feel a lot of weird twinges and pulls in the next few weeks but it's all normal. Unless it's unbearable pain or you bleed there is usually nothing to worry about.

I had lots of cramping then too. Try drinking a LOT of water. It really does help.

Thanks hon- and thanks everybody! That's exactly what it is- it's hard to know what's a normal feeling and what is not. I took it easy today anyway- it has been a ridiculously crazy exhausting week. I even went back to sleep after I wrote this! DH kept telling me I could call the doc but I feel like you do- nothing really to worry too much about unless there's bleeding or true pain.
Thanks again!
