So depressed today........
my dh barely has a job---it is VERY part time and we need the money to pay bills but all the jobs are part time or they just never call back after the interview. I keep sending out resumes day after day and he gets one or two interviews but nothing.
I know we are not the only ones as craigslist has more people looking for jobs than actual jobs but it looks like a dead end to me and even though I know things happen for a reason and something will work out, it doesn't feel like that today.

I can TOTALLY relate to you! My Dh has been 'freelance' for years and lately the bills have been killer and the money is non-existent!
We finally got good news this week that a job he's been trying to get for months was just approved- so keep your chin up! 
What does your DH do? Maybe we can all help you look!
ETA: This is one of my favorite poems.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

sorry. I  he finds what he wants quickly!! Their are alot of seasonal jobs opening up.. would he consider maybe one of those for the time being?

I know exactly how you feel. DH is a P/T teacher and trying to find F/T.
Its so hard!

My dh is looking in the construction/warehouse/driving/forklift, labor field.

He would really like to find something permanent but that is why he has the part time he has now.

Yes, try to keep your chin up and stay positive. I dont know anyone looking right now but may I suggest that your DH keep an eye on this website to find out when they are taking applications for apprentices. My brother did this and he's been steadily employed as a carpenter for 5 years now, with great benefits. It may take awhile but its well worth it.

We are in Holbrook and he is willing to go into Nassau County as long as the pay is good enough to cover the gas costs.
