So for all the bad, comes a little good with our sellers
they sent us an email asking if we would like some stuff to keep.
We actually had asked if we could buy the kitchen table because it fits so perfectly! I'm really excited because we don't have anything! 
look at this list:
Kitchen
Kitchen table with leaf
Curtains, pillows & cushions for window seat
Microwave Oven in good condition
Master Bedroom
Black bench and large mirror from master bedroom dressing area
Solid carved Pecan wood bedroom set including two end tables, one dresser, two mirrors, matching armoire and queen size headboard.
Additional Bedrooms:
Wood oval full length swivel mirror in guest bedroom
(New condition) Gray & Black area rug in craft room
2 Bedroom end table lamps with black & white shades (new condition)
Curtains from “office” bedroom
Bathrooms:
White wood and glass door toilet tank shelf in entrance hall bathroom
Sunroom
Curtains
Green Area Rug
Front & Rear Yard
Ornamental Star on Back of house
Two Park Benches
6 Burner barbeque with tools
Glass umbrella table with four cushioned chairs and umbrella (from patio)
Metal plant shelf on patio
Furniture under outdoor gazebo including one couch, 2 chairs and one coffee table with cushions
Wood and metal bench under front porch

Sofa
Carriage lamps on either side of the fireplace
Green wrought iron bistro table and two chair set from family room (in front of mirrors)—may be used outdoors.
Large wood & glass framed “green leaf picture” 3-D (Excellent condition)

Make sure it is free....because our owners asked the same thing....but then added that they would 'sell' it to us.
They wound up leaving some things bc they didn't want to pack them up.

that's great! my Dad left tons of stuff for the new owners of our house...I am kicking myself now for letting him leave the dining room set- it was VERY tradtitioal old school ethan allen- but then I saw on HGTV how they sanded it and painted it sliver with modern fabric....wow! now I will be on craigs list looking for a similar set

I cut and pasted that from the email they sent us. the list was called Gift list to our purchasers

 wow that is a lot of stuff. That is great Heather. Is all the decor/furniture your taste? If it is that is great. 
All we got was some old shovels, a lawn mower and all the stuff we needed to fix.

Oh that's so nice! They must be downsizing and don't need as much ?? But still, they could sell it or just take it and give it to relatives -- it is very kind that they are giving it to you guys! And it works out because you'll need a lot of stuff to fill a big house!

the bedroom set is the oly non neutral thing. we already have that, so we won't be using the bed set. as for the dressers, we can use then in the guest bedroom for now. the outdoor furniutre i love! the sofa is neutral. the window treatments aren't my taste but I will need something for a while so it will do

That is awesome Heather. At least you will make it work for now.  Just remember at Christmas/Holiday time, that you want gift cards to Home Good, Home Depot, Lowe's, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel and where else you like. That is how we have paid for a lot of things around the house.
