So how do you stop that sickening feeling....
of having sold one place and not yet found where you want to live?
ERod sold my co-op (we got a great price) and we did the paperwork today...but now I have 3 months to find a house. Anyone else go through this? How did you handle the anxiety of finding your home?
We could live with either parent if we had to but  to that

we lived with dad until we found something. hated it but had to do it so as to not have a nervous breakdown

I know...she got us a buyer at our first open house...I thought the sale of my co-op would take forever!

I know...she got us a buyer at our first open house...I thought the sale of my co-op would take forever!

I'm experiencing it right now, and the feeling $ucks! We sold our co-op, and we have to be out by the end of the month. Dh and I are moving in with my parents until we find a house. It's not the end of the world, and we are lucky to have a place to go rather than having to pay rent somewhere. Just have to look at it that way. It's not a long term thing..hopefully something will come along soon.

I was not in the same boat but I think that this can only help you when putting an offer on a house because buyers don't want to have to wait for someone to sell something in order to buy their house...Good Luck   <------------------------ HOUSE DUST

I was in the same exact situation a few years ago. I sold my prior property for a great price and didn't have a house lined up yet.
Don't worry in this market you should easily find something as long as you aren't too nit-picky. Some great deals to be had out there.

Don't worry in this market you should easily find something as long as you aren't too nit-picky. Some great deals to be had out there.
Solid advice from a lover of Depeche Mode....how can I go wrong!
Not nit-picky....just have to get that idea into my DH's head
