So I fell on the ice with DD in my arms tonight
DH and I both went to pick up DC tonight from daycare.
We get into the driveway and I get DD out of the car, DH gets DS. I go around the back of the car with DD in my left arm to get the bags out of the back.
I stepped right on a sheet of ice on the driveway and felt myself going down. I must have reached my right arm out because all I know is I grabbed onto the rear windshield wiper on the back window of the car.
All I could think of was how to not fall on top of DD or allow her to get hurt at all.
Luckily grabbing onto the wiper kept me from falling onto my back. I went straight down on my a$s, DD never hit the ground, the windshield wiper cracked off in my hand and is now dangling by the wires.
But we were both OK. Whew! Those are scary moments!

I worry about this every time I carry Tyler out of the car.
My husband fell on his *** today in the school parking lot. I kind of wish I was around to see that one!

me too! 
i fell the other night with DD in her infant seat. i fell in slow motion and placed her down on the ground while dragging my left knee. she was fine but my knee is scraped really bad!

I am glad your baby was ok. Hope your knee is feeling better. I never worried about ice until now!
