So I give Abby the Hyland's teething tablets...
...and she hated them so much that she gagged and then promptly puked on me. I decided to take one myself to see what the fuss was all about thinking that they must taste bad. They taste like chalk.
Then I wondered why they are giving warnings to pregnant and breastfeeding women on the bottle.  . I am sure its just what companies have to do with all "drugs" homeopathic or not but it made me laugh nonetheless.

well, there was a point where i was convinced Emma was pregnant - as she was only puking in the AM (morning sickness)....maybe i'm not the only one?

Truth be told, Abby's teething has been interfering with her feedings. I called the pediatrician today because of the difficulty we've been having. The first thing he said was "Is she teething?" Her gums must be seriously hurting her. Poor thing.

I did too, I dissolved it in like a tsp of formula and gave it to him from the spoon when he was a baby.

Did you try giving her the little bag that you put the food in and they can chew on? my dd likes if i put really cold fruit in there...it numbs her gums and gives her fresh fruit at the same time.

You can also mix it with her cereal. I am sorry she doesn't like them. You also try the other brand (Humphrey's).

We call them "happy pills" in our house my dd loves them.!!! We shake the bottle and starts getting excited.

I tasted them, they tasted like nothing.
My kid must me sick in the head if they taste like chalk, because he smiles when we shake the bottle. Then says 'mmmmmmmmmmmm' after we give them to him.
I don't know how they work, but they do.

When Charlotte is full-on teething her eating definitely subsides (while her nursing kicks up). I give her a cold teether to numb her mouth up a bit prior to feeding her and that usually helps. The 'food bag' thingy is great too...I put frozen fruit, veggies and ice in it and she goes to town. Tames the pain and she 'eats' all at once

DS loves them. He especially loves shaking the bottle lol. I always put 3 on a teaspoon and add a drop of water to melt them, then he sucks on the spoon. Works great and I think the spoon is soothing as well.
