I feel so bad for you BJ. I didn't even know you lost your job until you mentioned it yesterday. 
I feel for all our fellow LIFers and Americans in the same situation.

I feel so bad for you BJ. I didn't even know you lost your job until you mentioned it yesterday.
It's because I don't feel bad for myself and I'm kind of enjoying the time off (I've been working nonstop for 19 years!!!).
I finished my apprenticeship, got a raise with the union, so I knew it was coming the day the raise took affect. I will probably be out of work 5-6 months, but I have benefits that will hopefully hold out and keep me afloat. I'm also fortunate that my DH has a steady job.
I do think that once January 2nd comes around, I will be bored out of my mind and need to come up with some hobbies. So any ideas are appreciated.

There is so much you can do to keep occupied! I hope you aren't out of work too long and can use this time to
do what you enjoy!
