So I sold my first ebay listing and what's next?
 I posted it at 9:45pm today..I can't believe it. DH has sold stuff but I like to be prepared. So what happens now. How do I receive the payment and when do I ship it? This is exciting

are you set up with paypal? did you have any verbage on your listing about payment within a certain time (i.e. 3 days)......if not, then I would e-mail the buyer a "congratulations" e-mail and give them the info on how to make payment and communicate the shipping costs (if not already in your listing)

When the auction ends, the buyer will pay per your instructions (usually paypal). You ship when you receive confirmation of payment from ebay - some people pay by echeck that takes a couple of days to clear.
