So, I told my parents last night...(hint to who I am inside!!!)
Was a bit scared to see what their reaction would be since I'm basically going to be a "single" mom (although I have the full support of the baby's father)....and my Mom actually started crying with happiness! I was shocked.
She told me that she was just telling her friend yesterday afternoon that she "hoped to be blessed" with a grandchild sometime in the future and that she would welcome any child into her arms--no matter how I became a Mom.
My Mom was like a big kid essentially jumping up and down for joy and both her and my stepdad told me that I have their full support no matter what I need, day or night.
Oh, what a relief!!! I'm getting so excited now...I really hope everything is well and my little piglet is healthy for the next 34 weeks!!!
And....since I've been getting so many FM's with guesses---and people asking for more hints, I thought I'd leave ya'll with this little poem to guide you on your way to another guess.....
If you want to know who I am
it simply takes a minute or two
Do some research on LIW
and look for a former lady in blue.
I used LIW for many thoughts and ideas
then came over here to LIF for 3 years.
I don't post much but read everyday
to laugh, cry, giggle, and pray.
A cop I once was
but now I am done
to guess who I am
is all in the fun.

Anyhow, congrats!!
Yes, I was served my divorce paperwork on 02/14/06 (really ironic since I'm due on that date in 09)--- only a year and a half into our marriage.....but, that's one reason I left the police department---to try to get it right the next time around.

Ok.....so, to make the game even more fun....some of the girls have already guessed who I am!!! Ha! My secret is almost officially "out." But, for those who haven't guessed yet, you have 20 days left to put in your two cents. Let the countdown begin....
