So is this the beginning of Word War 3?

I watched Newt Gingrich on the Today show yesterday (NOT my fave person BUT) I cannot stop thinking about it?

I feel like we are on the brink of a huge war that our country is already front and center on...and it scares me

I try not to think about it much -- but when I do that's what I think. There has been way too much brewing for too long now. I feel like something is going to happen and that is SOO scary because times are sooooo different now.....

WWIII is every family get together...crazy grandma gets wasted and whines about the past, i tell her to shut up and everyone gangs up on me, then i go home till next year! When it starts all over again! These terrorists would not last an hour with grandma!!

Between global warming warnings, all the feuds going on...I'm beginning to think of the Apocalypse, as depicted in the Bible. It's scary. And I watch too much National Geographic Channel.

I think it is in many ways the beginning of WWIII but I try not to watch the news or anything like that to often because I will get totally FREAKED out and start having anxiety attacks 24/7. I just wanna live in my own little bubble filled with rainbows and unicorns and I DONT wanna know about the nuclear testing that North Korea is doing or the bombings in Lebanon or anything of the sort...

There were these books about the Apocolypse a few years ago ... I can't remember the name but they made the first one into a movie which was bad, starring Kurt Cameron.

I read a few of them and they were scary because they could have been very close to our real world situation...

I hate to sound like Debbie Downer, but I think that things like war happen in cycles. Since I believe that we are about 40 yrs. past due. It's so sad that so many die because we can't find a way to respect each others differences. I wish that we could, but the human race is stubborn and the leaders that we elect or are allowed to control are the most stubborn of all.

I know, I feel like people just don't get how much people HATE Americans nowadays...I was watching the news the other day and a woman was standing in Beirut after an Israeli rocket hit saying "This is all America's fault!"

I try not to think about it, but now being a mom and being on the train and subway every day, it does rattle me a bit.

**As for family/IL get togethers we have hit like World War 27 with that...I awaiting my nuclear SIL to explode any day now...

I really think it could be. DH broke it down the other day how he thinks it's going go. Basically once we invade Iran (if/when it gets to that point) China will get involved and then that'll will kick it off. And let's not forget that N. Korea is now nuclear capable, hates the US and seems to have an itchy trigger finger. Think testing their ICBMs on July 4th was a little bit of hint... It's getting very scary!
