Re: So is this the beginning of Word War 3?
I am very worried about this and feel like we are not prepared at all. When the holocaust occuried in Europe alot of people didnt even know about it and those that did were in denial and to this today many dont believe it ever happened. I compare what is going on in Africa to the Holocaust and I agree that the middle east situaton could lead us into WWIII.

Unfortunately I think it is too. I imagine decades from now we'll hear "When the US decided to invade Iraq, it touched off..."
I still amazes me how all that goodwill after 9/11 has gone to crap.

There were these books about the Apocolypse a few years ago ... I can't remember the name but they made the first one into a movie which was bad, starring Kurt Cameron.
I read a few of them and they were scary because they could have been very close to our real world situation...
I think you are talking about the Left Behind Series.

Re: So is this the beginning of Word War 3?
This may sound strange, but war is too easy nowadays (disclaimer...for those who have family fighting, I don't mean easy for them or for you, I mean for our technology-wise). Today wars can be fought and **won** within seconds, instantly wiping out towns and villages. Just push a button and be rid of a mass of people. That is too big for me to handle. I want to believe that tihngs will get better.
ETA: DH loves the news. The more we're bombarded with hearing all of the negatives, the more disheartened we will become.
