So I've been MIA because... (sorry kinda long)
Well, besides the fact that as of 3 weeks ago I officially became a full time SAHM, I just spent 5 days in the hospital with my little boy. His belly was so huge he looked PG and it was firm, so the ped sent us to the ER to run tests and we wound up staying in the hosptial for 5 days! Thank goodness he was only uncomfortable and not in pain. He only cried when they took blood, which the first night was bad because it took them 11 tries to get an IV in But he showed that doctor when the Dr went to do a rectal and got showered with mucus poop  (Sorry for the TMI) and he said "it went in my face" (where's the throw up icon when i need it?!?!) Everytime someone came to take his blood pressure, or get a temp, he would just smile really big at them and they would tell him how cute he is & how good he is. I'm so proud of him! But as soon as they held down his arm or leg, he knew they were comin for blood.
Turns out DS may have to deal with this on & off his whole life and we'll just have to deal with it as it happens. Anyway, now my baby is home and doing a bit better.
And Happy 7 months Ethan! Sat was 7 months for him, but I didn't want to take any pics in the hospital, so I will return with some in the next few days

Glad to hear that he was OK with everything. You said it may be with him his whole life, but is it a danger, or just an annoying inconvenience?

I think for the most part, an inconvenience, but at times it would have to be treated. They believe what he has is called a pseudo obstruction, where there isn't really an obstructionin the intestines, but your body thinks there is.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that - I'm glad he is home and he's ok!!!
