So, my Mirena iud fell out. I'd like to formally take back all the times I recommended it on here and tmi!
Lol I understand wanting to get him snipped! Have you ever considered Essure? It's a new in office procedure with a quick recovery for the women. I only say it because it is quick and has great results. Neither of you would need surgery, and you would need maybe a day to rest.

anyhoooo, now that we've gotten THAT out of the way...
that really sucks about your iud falling out. i was under the impression it sort of embeds itself to your body. i'd be curious to know what your doc says with regards to why/how this happened. that's some scary shit to say the least.

what is this essure procedure? i cannot have any bc with hormones bc i tend to get clots and dvts

It's a permanent thing...akin to getting your tubes tied but less invasive. It's done in the dr office.
They insert something in.your tubes that scar tissue forms around and blocks your tubes permanently

Wow, sorry to hear you had such a bad experience.
I've had mine just about 5 years and have not had any issues. I need to figure out if I'm going to get it again or do something more permanent.

That stinks!
I feel like there is really no good form of bc.
I struggle with this all the time. You would think in this modern day and age of medical technology they would have a better option.
I feel like every form stinks in one way or another.
This!! Have your DH get a snip. It's the safest thing out there!
