So nervous!
I think I may have gotten a BFP today. The line is very light. I am feeling SO nervous this is some kind of a mistake or it will be another chemical. I am in disbelief that it could actually be a healthy bfp. I guess I'm just looking for some support or BTDT advice. I wish I felt excited right now, but I feel scared.

Re: So nervous!
That is exactly how I felt when I got a bfp from my last IVF cycle. I showed up at the train station to meet my DH and I was in tears!!!!!! He was so confused because we got good news that day of a doubling beta, but I just couldn't stop crying because I was so scared something could go wrong.
After you've been burned the first time, I think it's just normal to be scared for all the future times. Instead of a loss being something that happens to other people, it's something that hits home since it happened to YOU! ..
All you can do now is hope for the best. Worrying will not help anything!! Keep reminding yourself that a loss is NOT the norm and most pregnancies progress healthily!! Good luck and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Re: So nervous!
Congratulations! It is so nerve wracking! I'm hoping for a BFP from my first IVF cycle in less than a week and am already have fears of another m/c. I'm trying to stay calm and visualize positive things - me being pregnant, a baby next Spring, etc. Good Luck!!!
ETA: I have a 3 yr old who was conceived after a m/c. I was a wreck! I was so nervous I made myself sick. At 7 weeks I had great #s and a great u/s. Yet, at 9 weeks I started cramping and spotting and was sure a m/c was coming. I cried for two days and then finally instisted on an u/s. There was my growing healthy and she had developed little arm and leg buds. My OB told me I could "get off the eggshells" b/c I was doing great and so was the baby. I have to admit though, I wasn't really comfortable until 14 weeks. At that point I made my pregnancy public and began to enjoy it.

Re: So nervous!
Hang in there!
I know how you feel. I'm 12 weeks now and I am still on eggshells. It isn't easy after a loss especially the first few weeks. I am finally starting to relax a little bit now but I'm still nervous and I keep praying for the best.
I hope this is it for you

Re: So nervous!
Thanks so much for your support. BFP is a bit darker today. I'm so on edge, but I'm hoping it starts to subside soon.

Re: So nervous!
Good luck! I'd be more shocked if you said you weren't nervous. After one loss of course you're on edge. Keep us posted
