So overwhelmed by "big girl furniture"-- a question

We didn't get a hutch with DD's nursery furniture and I have always regretted it b/c I have nowhere to display cute things, hold books, etc. So I wanted a hutch with her big-girl furniture, I was thinking the big/long dresser with a hutch attached to the top.

But I'm not finding really anything like this. Chat Icon I'm finding desks with a hutch on top, but not really dressers with a hutch. Is this not a common thing? Will I really not need a hutch? I don't think I'm going to get her a desk b/c even though her room is a decent size, I'd rather get a dresser than a desk.

Most of the changing tables/dressers at BRU have the hutch as an option. That way, after it's no longer a changing table, you can put the hutch on. I did that with both DC's dressers.

I'm not a fan of hutches. JMO.

What about putting up decorative shelves to display stuff and store books? They take up less room.

C - when you come here on Sat we should run over to Behrs (it's 30 seconds away) and have a great selection for you to look at (and at least get ideas)

Yeah, unfortunately they no longer make our nursery furniture...and the nursery furniture is going into the new baby's room, and I have to get DD all new furniture.

It is a smart move though!!
