So sad.....kinda dumb
so at 16 weeks i have decided to take out my belly button ring I cant believe how sad i am over this. ( told you it was a dumb post lol)
Ive had it for so long and IMO i thought it was so cute and i loved having it. but after thinking, I dont think its safe to keep in. I was planning on buying a pregnancy ring but i was scared of the WHAT IF... what if it stretched and tore or something happens. the baby is more important then a belly ring. hey maybe one day ill get it done again( haha no way! it hurt to bad)
just needed to let my sadness out lol

Don't be too upset. I took my ring out last year when I was pregnant with Rogan before I even got PG (I was worried it was affecting implantation), anyway a month or so after we lost Rogan, I put the ring back in by myself with no issues whatsoever.

It doesnt have to close!!! I put mine in every once in a blue just to keep it open, but now sadly enough, I dont wear it anymore.

Nope....there was a tiny piece of skin that had closed, but I poked right through it.

I kept mine in until about 6 months with my 1st pregnancy. I was just so sick with hyperemesis that i didnt even think or care to take it out. By the time i reached 6 months the dr said i HAD to take it out. I didnt bother putting it back in until about 3 weeks after i had my c-section. The hole was still open, i think because i had it pierced for 12 years at the time. WIth my 2nd pregnancy again i was very sick and really it was the last thing i thought about. I think i kept it in until 8 months. Then took it out and put it back after i had my daughter. It didnt stretch or anything. If you feel better taking it out then thats the best thing for you to do. One of my friends took hers out the day she found out she was pregnant thinking it would tear open and another friend bought a clear retainer and kept it in the whole time with no problems.
