SO SO SO Confused and upset
So this is my fist TTC cycle and i just got home from a cruise. I brought a Dollar store HPT with me cause the last day of my cruise was 10DPO (saturday). So I tested and got a BFN-- no big deal- it was pretty early and i have been on a 30 day cycle the past 6 months, EXCEPT AF shows up while im in the airport-- it gets heavier during the day and (Sorry if TMI) its so DARK--like muddy looking. Its only day 26!! What the heck is going on? Any advice???????? I cant believe this is happening during my first cycle TTC!!

Is this your first cycle off BCP because that can mess with your cycle at first good luck

It can take a few months for your cycle to go back to normal after being on the pill. I got off BCP in November and although the first AF off was a little heavy and lasted longer than usual, eventually my cycles became normal 29-30 days (except one cycle was like 39 days). I finally Oed for the first time this month (got EWCM this past Thursday, which was a week later than I used to get it before going on BCP and having DD)
It just takes some time. If you have any concerns though, you should call and see if you can talk to your Dr about it.

Where was your cruise to? Traveling can have a big impact on your cycle. I've know people whose flow has completely stopped in flight!

AF always loves to crash my vacations...Even when I was on bcp, I would get a visit every single vacation I have ever been on. I actually had my period 10 days before my wedding, and it came again at my reception, and lasted most of my honeymoon...

My past two cycles I have had very dark brown spotting prior to my period starting. My period typically does start off very light, with a little brown blood-- but, these cycles felt very different-- and I don't know if that's just what my body is doing, or I have had chemicals.
Anyway, I have this CRAZY dark brown spotting for days, if not a week before red flow starts-- some days heavier than others. It is not your period til your flow is red.

Well-- Im neurotic so Im going to test again tomorrow morning-- thank god for dollar tree- cause its never turned red-- I'll keep u all posted
