So, the Zantac pretty much stopped working
It takes a LONG time for it too kick in and then does not last until I can take the next one.
Can I take tums for some temporary relief while waiting for the Zantac to kick in? MY m-i-l said I shouldnt take them together, but I wanted to know if that was true.
I'm dying

I Googled this recently and read that tums can reduce the effectiveness of Zantac, so don't take them on top of each other but rather wait for the Zantac to stop working.
Also, I bought Tums Smoothies and OMG I don't know why anyone would ever in a million years take regular Tums again!! Same thing but instead of being like a gross piece of chalk it kind of melts away while u chew.

The Zantac isn't helping me and I didnt want to go on stronger meds so I am on a high Carb-Protein diet and so far it has helped. It stinks but I would rather do that than take stronger meds. I take tums everyday for Calcium

i dont know if its the same thing but have u ever tried pepcid? i have a script for that and when i take it im heartburn free a few minutes later... but im not pregnant so that changes things a little lol feel better
