so, this morning it happened for the first time
I blew his kisses, said goodbye, closed the door on his smiling face....
and heard him start to cry when the door closed all the way.
walking away from that door.....it completely and totally sucked.
thank God we go on a family vacation as of tonight.
booo stinky boooo. that hurt.

i've cried many a morning commute all the way to work because of this.
yes, it sucks!
And then finally the day I left and he didn't cry for me kind of stung a little too.

Many to you...DS was fine seconds after you left, but unfortuantely you still think about it....don't..he is happy and smiling with MIL now

Ugh, I have yet to go through this, and I'm so thankful for that.
I drop him off at my mom's in the morning. He's usually asleep, so he doesn't even know that I leave. And when he is awake, he gives my parents the biggest smile, and he's so happy to see them.
It will break my heart when he starts to cry when I leave.
