Bread
Cereal
Fruit

All of the above helped me - especially citrus.

Yep, you definitely need to eat something. A piece of bread, a cookie, a cereal bar. Eat something small and the nausea will go away almost immediately. Then try something larger.

Eating lots of healthy small snacks throughout the day helps. Feel better!Chat Icon

Chat Icon How far along are you? You might just be in that phase that even if you eat, you'll feel nauseous.

I would keep snacking on saltines, maybe have a glass of milk to fill my belly.

I know that around 7/8 weeks I was so ravenous I couldn't eat enough (even after hoarding it away) and always felt so sick.

Re: When you have Morning Sickness and STARVATION at the same time

I never had morning sickness, but I DID have serious food aversions....

everyone is different with what they can eat... generally, carbs and fruit are high on the OK list, and meat / veggies are Chat Icon

When I was at my worst, I could only eat buttered pasta (no nutritional value at all Chat Icon ) and fruit.... specifically cantelope and pineapple.... but oranges were also good... anthing very 'clean tasting' could make it down my throat.
For whatever odd reason, I could also eat cottage cheese and one brand of yogurt.... go figure.
animal crackers and saltines were also good when my stomach was empty.... try to keep food in your stomach at all times... being hungry makes the symptoms even worse!

My advice: go to the grocery store... wander the isles (especially the fruit section and the bread/pasta) and buy what ever doesn't turn your stomach when you think about possibly eating it... could be canned fruit, fresh fruit, bread/pasta, crackers....
I went grocery shopping daily becuase my tastes kept changing...

I used to have saltines with peanut butter. Or a slice of bread with peanut butter.

A handful of teddy grahms.

Some fruit

Toast with jelly
