Nothing really new here.
My anniversary & Nephew's 1st bday are coming up on Monday. We are very excited for that.
My gift is a trip to Florida which got approved by my boss today!

let's see, me I went on an interview yesterday for a position as a print coder for a market research company, it went well but will have to wait and see.
Alia is going to be 14 months in three days and she is almost walking.
the past three months have been hard on us but little by little we are getting through it.
Although I'm not sure if the renewal is going to take place.

that is so exciting that Alia is starting to walk. Before I got married, DH and I hit a rough patch. We were engaged and almost called it quits. We were able to see a marriage counselor, for really cheap with my insurance, we were then on the same page and haven't had any problems since. Sometimes talking to a third party helps soooooooo much.
I hope you get that job!! Money adds so much strain too. That was the main reason we moved back to NY. To pay off everything and reset. We chopped wedding costs in half, and was so glad we did.
Just working here. nothing new. I have been upset since the weekend. My dad was out running, and he was jumped by 2 guys. He won't talk about it. He doesn't want anyone to know. I feel so mad, angry, empty, heartbroken....( I am now realizing I should have fmed this. Just so glad to see you posting)
I can't wait to move

I'm so sorry Jan about your dad. I'm glad that he is okay despite the circumstances. Just give him time, he needs to deal with it on his own.
Yeah, you are completely right. Money does add a lot of strain and has been probably one of the main reasons besides other stuff.
When are you guys moving?

June. I can't wait. My dad is physically in bad shape. Which is terrible since he has been training for the marathon hard. I guess when he was down, they kicked him in his legs, and really hurt one knee. I am sick over it.
It is terrible. One night I went running with him, a car drove by and egged us. It was awhile back, but my dad then tries to run and catch the car, I have egg on me trying to catch my dad. What a mess. Then because of that I stopped running with him, I figure he did not need any problems. Now this.

Best of Luck with things! How exciting she's almost walking and for your family!
Dh returned home on the 2nd and had a week off to get reunited as a family. Jack will be 5 months on sunday :) Alot of financial things that overtook us when I lost my job (problem pregnancy Vs. Work) are turning around :)
Dh and I are leaving for the Bahamas the weekend after next as a late Anniversary gift and to get reunited without our little guy my mom will be watching him. On the negative side Dh nominated himself to deploy again it's a short deployment but he will gone again very soon. I know why he did it (he is paying his dues for being home for my pregnancy and for Jack's birth and first 6 weeks) but I just got used to having him around again and I'm not ready for him to leave me and Jack but luckily we have the cruise... Thank God I booked it for when we did!

thanks guys. sorry to hijack. I am not sure why I vented it. I am not able to tell my siblings or anyone, he is really embarassed.
He is running again this year, with DH. But this weekend he said it will be his last year, which is a shame, he started it when he found out he was diabetic. He wanted to exercise and set a goal. there is such trash on Staten Island, it is unreal.
Laurie-did Jack warm up to your DH right away? I was hoping he would.
