Best of Luck with things! How exciting she's almost walking and  for your family!
Dh returned home on the 2nd and had a week off to get reunited as a family. Jack will be 5 months on sunday :) Alot of financial things that overtook us when I lost my job (problem pregnancy Vs. Work) are turning around :)
Dh and I are leaving for the Bahamas the weekend after next as a late Anniversary gift and to get reunited without our little guy my mom will be watching him. On the negative side Dh nominated himself to deploy again it's a short deployment but he will gone again very soon. I know why he did it (he is paying his dues for being home for my pregnancy and for Jack's birth and first 6 weeks) but I just got used to having him around again and I'm not ready for him to leave me and Jack but luckily we have the cruise... Thank God I booked it for when we did!
Wow, I can't believe your son is 5 months already. time does fly.
I'm glad to hear that you got to spend time with your dh and try to enjoy the cruise.
Don't worry, it will go fast.

oh for my Update... Yeah, theres nothing much to tell  (i already wrote the most exciting news that i've had in forever- about going on vacation in a few months ).
just crazy busy with work and school. i have a mock practical in lab tomorrow night on all the parts of the Skull, and i havent looked at my notes in 2 weeks, so i havent ALOTTT of reading to do tongiht (intersting stuff, huh?  )

thanks guys. sorry to hijack. I am not sure why I vented it. I am not able to tell my siblings or anyone, he is really embarassed.
He is running again this year, with DH. But this weekend he said it will be his last year, which is a shame, he started it when he found out he was diabetic. He wanted to exercise and set a goal. there is such trash on Staten Island, it is unreal.
Laurie-did Jack warm up to your DH right away? I was hoping he would.
Yup totally! It was perfect Dh arrived around 3am and Jack wakes up at 3am for a bottle so after we greeted each other he jumped in the truck to see Jack and it was perfect because he glanced up and flashed a huge smile and every morning he plays superman with Daddy before work. We've had no issues with me leaving Jack with Dh at home and he has become very attached even some neighbors that know him well he doesn't like being left with but luckily he must remember his Daddy:)
They are so cute together! If I ever needed a reason to be reminded why I love him (and I don't but just saying) watching him with Jack and trying to make up for old time does it for me every day!

nothing is new with me i never have anything exciting happening in my life! the only thing that is new is that i am going to Las Vegas on nov.18th to see The Rollingstones at the mgm grand and on october 28th i am going to Atlantic city we have 1 room comp for 2 nights and we come back on sunday.

Hey!!! Nothing much new over here. Christopher's 3-months old today and we got his Halloween pictures taken yesterday (check them out on the parenting board!). DH and I are going on a mini-moon in the beginning of November, because we had to cancel our belated honeymoon plans that we had arranged for this January, so I'm excited about that!!

We're going to the Caesar's pocono resort in Brookdale and we're staying in the uber champagne towers suite. I told my mother about it and she picks up Christopher and says "uh oh. You're gonna have a little brother or sister soon."  We're not planning on it yet, but it struck me funny.

As for me, not too much going on. Went to see a head hunter yesterday and she has some opportunities for me to look at. So hopefully will have some good news soon.
DH is still struggling with his sleep apnea, I feel so bad for him. I wish it was easier than it's been.
I've had some major family issues lately, between my grandfather and the stroke and the toll it's taking on all the family and and my aunt getting cancer again after being in remission. It just *****. In better news my cousin (MOH) just found out she's pregnant with her second baby.

My update...
Things are getting busier at my internship. I really like it there and think I'm going to learn a lot by the end of the year.
I'm working on getting my NYS school psychology certification so that I can apply for school psych jobs at the masters level for next year.
I am having an awful time getting motivated to work on my dissertation and feel like I'm going to be one of those people who is ABD her whole life (All But Dissertation). I just don't want to do it!
Otherwise, life is status quo!

I just wanted to give everyone lots of hugs for all the bad stuff and hard times they are going thru
Tania, I know its easy for me to say(and often I don't believe it for myself during these past few rough months) BUt things ARE going to get better for you, you are a strong woman I truly believe that in the end when we go through rough patches, it actually makes us stronger and able to do anything we want and put our minds to Hang in there girlie
