So Vicks vapor rub and those plug-ins are still safe to use?
With the recalls and everything, I wasn't sure if Vicks was still considered safe. DS is sick AGAIN and I keep hearing recommendations for the Vicks plug-ins and I just wanted to make sure there was nothing ever said about those.

I would just rub Vicks directly on his chest, back and feet.
I've never seen the plug ins. I know many of the plug in air fresheners are fire hazards.

I use it when DS is sick. I plug it in when he goes to sleep and take it out when he wakes up

I tried the plugs in and thought they were TOO strong for the boys room.
We put it in ours one night and my lungs felt like they were burning

I agree...those plug ins are supposed to be very dangerous.

I use Baby Vicks. I rub it on DS's chest and back. It's for babies over 3 months.

I used this with DD several times along with a humidifier.
Triaminic has put out one that is battery operated

I just bought this and it was very strong smelling...his room smelled for three days after but it says its "non medicated"
