So what's the deal on BRU returns again?
Can I return duplicates from my registry without gift receipts? (The registry shows WANTS 1 HAS 2).
Can I return items from my registry without gift receipts? (If I just changed my mind ...)
And lastly, not on my registry and no receipt - am I just stuck with it?

Hmm I would think if 1 was purchased, they would act like the one you are returning is the one purchased from the registry, and you would be OK.

Yes--the verdict is out about whether you get the lowest sale price or the price the buyer paid...But you get store credit.
And lastly, not on my registry and no receipt - am I just stuck with it?
This varies from store to store--I went to Bohemia and they said they will give lowest sale price in gift card form for things without receipt, but another store said they will not take back at all with no receipt. It seems there is no general rule.

I had no problem at Commack. They took everything back that I needed to return and gave me store credit. Most of it was on my registry except for a few things and they gave me store credit for those items as well.
