So when is your DC's first day of school??
My DS is going into 2nd grade. His first day is Wednesday, the 7th. His first 3 days are NOON dismissal. His first full day is Monday, the 12th!
DD is starting K. Her first day is Thursday, the 8th. She only goes from 8:00-11:00. Friday she goes from 8:00-NOON and then Monday starts full day (8:00-2:30, same as my son).
I was just talking to a bunch of other moms in town, who kids are in different schools, and they start Tuesday, and start full day right away!

The boys start Tuesday, Sept 6th.. My kids are older so it's all full days for them! I think the kindergarten kids have half days the first week.. but I'm not sure! I think the 6th might be the K's first day in our district.. but it's really an orientation day so they go WITH the parents. When we did it we got to be in class with the kids, and then left them in the class for 45 minutes while we went with the parents and special teachers to the cafeteria.

Tues Sept 6th. DD will be going full day starting that day. Our K is still half day so DS will be done before noon every day.

Tues sept 6th and its full day from the start unless I hear otherwise before then. She is starting kindergarten. Orientation is the 1st. Then I believe they have off on thurs and fri for a holiday.

Both my 2nd grader and K'er start Wed. 7th. But they have early dismissal at 12:30. Full days start on the 12th- 8:10 to 3pm

Wow, a lot of Tuesday starts! I'm glad to have that one extra day!
Then again, I looked ahead to June and they don't finish until June 22nd!

Wed. Sept. 7 - I was told its a full day start. I havent gotten the calander yet but called the school to verify LOL.

Here in CO we started already. DD started 1st grade on the 18th and DS started preschool today!
We get out before Memorial Day though.
