So, who thought I was having twins?
Guess what?
YOU WERE WRONG! 
I just got back from my 6.5 week ultrasound and I'm absolutely THRILLED to report that we saw a very strong little heartbeat flickering away. The baby and sac are measuring beautifully.
And as for my high beta #'s, my RE says I just must have one strong little latke growing inside of me
