So worried about other twin
I am 7 weeks pregnant with twins and went for a 7 week sono yesterday . One of the babies is perfect with a heartbeat of 141. The doctor told me that he isn't sure if the other will continue. It is so much smaller than the other. Last week we didn't see a heartbeat on it but yesterday it was 102. To me that is progress but he doesn't think so. The dr did say maybe it impalanted later, but he wasn't too confident. I am totally devastated. Has anyone had experience with this?

 I dont have experience with that but please dont stress yourself...its still very early on .....Dont let the Dr get you down...Please think positive!!!!!

I'm in the same boat sort of. at 6 weeks we only saw 1 heartbeat. tomorrow I go back for 7w1d sono and  we see a 2nd heartbeat.
from what I have read (i did a search) that's not that low, and its still very early. some people don't see the heartbeat early on
I know your very excited about twins, but if GOD forbid, it doesn't work out, you still have one healthy baby

I found at 6ks and 2day OBGYN visit I was pregnant with twins and while I was on the table the tech proceded to warn me about the vanishing twin syndrome!!! I was completely . Five minutes later the dr came in and I asked him to explain the VTS- he was that the tech even said anything to me!!! Dr said is way too early to even talk like that. Seriously relax and have healthly thoughts.
BTW my  are 11 months and H&H!!

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to stress.
They didn't even find a second baby until I was over 7 weeks. You are still so early and everything develops so rapidly at that stage that even a day or 2 can change everything. Just think, at 7 weeks they are supposedly the size of a poppy seed!
Hang in there and think positive thoughts.

The other baby did stop developing. I was so devastated but now very grateful that I have one healthy baby
